Every 4 years, both the
Democratic and the Republican parties arrange for
national conventions in which they declare their
nominees for the White House. Within the Republican
convention last year, Ercüment Kılıç participated in a
program scheduled by AJC (American Jewish Committee).
On May 14, 2003, Ercument Kilic arranged for a joint
program with FDD (Foundation for Defense of Democracies)
in Washington DC. The title for the conference was " The
Turkish Model: The lessons from the coexistence of Islam
and Democracy". In addition to Ercüment Kılıç , and Nor
Boms of FDD, the speakers were Onur Oymen form CHP Party
of Turkey, and Egemen Bagis of AKP. |
