Ercüment Kılıç began learning the accordion at the age of 9. Prior to his university education, he entered the Turkish National Ensemble auditons in Ankara and entered the troop group as a musician. During his years in America, he added to his repretuare such instruments as the clarinet, flute, Turkish bagpipe, other keyboard and percussion instruments. During his university years, Ercüment formed Turkish bands with his American musicians and produced a number of phognaphic records and a CD. Today, these tunes are being used by countless people and dance groups across the world.
