Our annual visits to Turkey begin with a visit to Anıt Kabir, the final resting place of Atatürk in Ankara. Reminissing the true place of Turkey in the world he envisioned makes this visit a sentimantal one for all of us. As Turks, we do our utmost in America to be worthy of not only Atatürk but also all the others who sacrificed immensely for all of us.
